November 3rd, 2007 - Rummel Takedown Tournament
This was the first time the 2007-8 DLS team faced competition from other schools this season, and the first time three DLS wrestlers ever faced competition from other schools. Though we did not fare very well, we had a few highlights. Matt Roden won his first match against an opponent from Brother Martin and Terrence Joseph learned that some of the things the coaches teach in practice actually work in a well fought 6-4 loss. Regardless of the win-loss record, the team comported themselves admirably and put forth, at the very least, the efforts expected of them by their coaches.
