Brusly Invitational Tournament
January 5th, 2008 at Brusly High School
Senior captain Ross Oliveri garnered his third 3rd place finish of the season in the 215# weight class.
With only five wrestlers De la Salle placed 13th out of 20 teams in a tournament that did include several non-Division III teams. Shawn Debenport placed a very respectable 4th at 189#s. First year wrestlers Brandon Belisle and Jacob Kornman added to the team point total. Brandon won two matches and wrestled courageously though injured to win two matches (his 5th and 6th of the season) and Jacob won his 3rd match of the season in what could easily be considered the toughest tournament the De La Salle grapplers have participated in this season.

My apologies to the rest of the team as these pictures are only of matches Ross and Shawn wrestled. My other pictures were rather blurry. Perhaps that is due to certain difficulties involved in taking decent pictures and screaming my head off at the same time?
